About the Role:

We’re looking for a Java Software Developer to join our growing team and help us build for the future. If you’re interested in learning new skills and technologies like Graph databases and cloud-native development, and if you’d like to expand your knowledge of the Java/Spring ecosystem while perfecting the design of our visionary Epicor product suite, you could be the perfect fit for this role.

We’re seeking a candidate who has some experience programming in Java at any level, a basic understanding of object-oriented design principles, and a basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases. Does this sound like you? Good, keep reading. 

What You’ll Do:

• Design and implement software features using Java in an Agile SCRUM environment

• Leverage relational, graph, and other NoSQL databases using Java or other languages

• Build robust and resilient code with a quality-first mindset

• Write and maintain unit tests and integration tests

• Work with QA team to review and fix issues found during testing

• Participate in peer reviews and code reviews

• Follow established coding standards, processes, and software engineering best practices

• Work alongside our Product Management team to help deliver innovative solutions that meet the needs of our growing customer base

What You Need to Succeed:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study, or equivalent work experience

• English Proficiency

Additional Skills That Could Set You Apart:

• Spring Boot or Spring Framework

• Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, or other cloud platform

• NoSQL databases like Cassandra, MongoDB, or Elasticsearch

• Graph databases like DataStax, Neo4J, or AWS Neptune, and Graph query languages like Gremlin, Cypher, or nGQL

• Low-code ETL tools like CloverDX, Talend, Pantaho Kettle, or Knime

• Modern front-end frameworks like Angular 6+, Vue.js, or React
