About the role: 

As a Principal Business Analyst, in the Product Development organization, you will have experience collaborating with the Product Management team, gathering customer requirements/feedbacks, working with partners and help design enterprise software for Manufacturers. The candidate should possess strong communication (verbal and written) , analytical thinking and creative problem solving skills. The candidate should have good knowledge on Financial Accounting, e-invoicing and taxation domain. The ideal candidate must be a self-directed problem solver with the ability to communicate in both technical and user-friendly ways to accommodate a variety of users. The candidate must be able to deliver quality results while under time constraints.

What you will do:

  • Analyse requirements and design solutions to fit those requirements.
  • Participate in agile development processes as a Product Owner (Scrum Role). Responsibilities include:
  • Write user stories, specifications and acceptance criteria.
  • Act as the voice of the customer and the user to the development team
  • Become a subject matter expert of the product, taking responsibility for cases and features in that area.
  • Work with the Product Management group to roll out releases and products for which the Analyst is the subject matter expert.
  • Present or completes customer demonstrations.
  • Provide training and leadership to other Business Analysts.
  • Work on support cases to provide information to Support and to users; determine if a particular feature is functioning as it was designed.
  • Handle/manage multiple streams of project parallelly.
  • Overview/review documentations of the projects delivered
  • Conducting demos to the stakeholders or the user groups

 

What you will need to succeed:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree required. 
  • 10+ Years of work experience with at least 4 years as an Analyst/Product Management in Financial Accounting, invoice management, and taxation domain.
  • Significant experience in designing large-scale enterprise software applications.
  • Experience in ERP software will be given preference.
  • Demonstrated experience in critical marketing competencies: Customer/market knowledge and marketing execution required.
  • Hands-on experience in strategic planning and business case development.
  • Strong analytical skills, financial acumen and strategic business capabilities are required.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Able to effectively present project, procedure and status updates and/or proposals to peers and upper levels of management.
  • Ability to lead individuals and groups. Effectively utilizes available resources and delegates work to achieve objectives.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • And of course, an attitude to learn and unlearn, and adopt/create an approachable surrounding for the team members.
