About the Role:

Epicor BisTrack is looking for a qualified individual to join our team as a Business Analyst.  Previous experience in a Business Analyst role and/or an in-depth understanding of the Lumber & Building Materials industry are requirements for this position. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to work for a leading provider of ERP software solutions and to directly influence and drive the definition and strategy of our Lumber & Building Materials solutions. In this role you will be charged with analyzing the needs of our clients and specifying solutions that support our customers’ growth and continue to differentiate Epicor’s solutions in the market.

The Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering and prioritizing business and customer requirements, discussing integrations with 3rd parties and specifying development items in detail.

What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate with customers, internal stakeholders, product managers and engineers to identify and understand product requirements
  • Produce specification documents, including customer profiles and detailed user stories and detailed product changes based on prioritized requirements
  • Work closely with the development organization through design, testing, and product release to ensure that the solution being designed accurately meets the needs and expectations of users
  • Perform business process analysis for roadmap features against current and competitive solutions including workflows, feature set, pricing, market share and differentiating value
  • Manage user experience including ease of use and workflow simplification
  •  Support the sales and marketing teams on new and updated products to ensure they understand the product, market, problems, solutions, scenarios, and differentiators by providing technically accurate content

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Software product management lifecycle process development and implementation
  • ERP software experience
  • Retail systems – POS, Inventory Management, Analytics, Loyalty, eCommerce
  • Strong experience working on teams delivering enterprise-level software products
  • Experience integrating 3rd party systems into an existing enterprise product
  • Bachelor degree or college diploma in appropriate field or equivalent experience
