 Cloud Reliability Specialist

About the Role:
The Cloud Reliability Specialist provides support to issues and other areas of the organization, by monitoring alerts, managing tasks, and following up on action items.

What You’ll Do:
  • Triages issues between different areas of the organization.
  • Manages ServiceNow Tasks
  • Manages incidents through ServiceNow and PagerDuty.
  • Updates status page to communicate incidents to our customer base. 
  • Assists in the automation of web application deployments.
  • Understands and adheres to escalation paths so that issues are resolved in conjunction with outlined SLAs
  • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
  • Manages production infrastructure.
  • Documents, tracks, and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Need to Succeed:
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Incident, Change, and Problem Management.
  • Experience using Cloud monitoring platforms (PagerDuty, Nagios, SolarWinds, Site24x7), creating individual monitors for one-off hosts, deploying monitors to similarly configured groups, building dashboards, auditing licensing, and creating automation.
  • Ability to identify and seek needed information/research skills.
  • Skills in critical thinking and problem-solving.
  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic fast-paced environment
  • 1-2 years of applicable experience preferred.
  • IT relevant education/certification (s).
  • Bachelors Degree Preferred
