How you will Impact

We are seeking a highly motivated product marketing leader for the Director, Product Marketing, Distribution and Building Supply position. This role is focused vertically, to build and provide deep industry knowledge and experience that is impactful to the customers we serve. This Director role will lead a team in collaborating with sales leadership, product, and the broader marketing organization, to set a strategic vision and execute on thought leadership, content creation, and marketing programs that help our customers and prospects maximize the potential of their business.


What you will do
  • Roll up your sleeves, meet users, customers and partners to understand their world and why Epicor solutions matter to them.
  • Partner with the Product team to define personas and use cases to build compelling solutions and a repeatable go-to-market model.
  • Drive ongoing adoption of Epicor solutions by connecting the product roadmap with our go-to-market strategy, mapping priorities to opportunities in the market.
  • Own the messaging and positioning for our Distribution and Building Supply products. Develop and evolve each product’s key value proposition and competitive positioning.
  • Bring a data and research-driven approach to our marketing and content strategy to drive efficient growth.
  • Create high-visibility product launches that showcase innovation, grow our community and drive new revenue.
  • Adopt and develop performance metrics to make sure you’re putting effort in where it counts, including user engagement, customer acquisition cost, churn, etc.
  • Recruit, support, and retain a talented (and really cool) team that is responsible for our product success.
  • Be a strategic partner to the sales organization, helping to define and communicate our value proposition and competitive positioning to target customer segments
  • Ensure internal cross-departmental groups are aligned with your launch strategies Develop and oversee our product collateral/bill of materials to enable sales and businesses development
  • Collaborate with PR, corporate marketing, and the event team to drive awareness, demand and loyalty.
  • Act as the voice of the customer, deeply knowing customer needs/requirements in order to prioritize recommendations to product and engineering teams
  • Become a market expert on our current and future customers

What you bring to the table

  • 10+ Years of Logistics/Distribution/Building Supply industry experience
  • 5+ Years of managing teams of marketing professionals
  • Experience with enterprise software within the ERP space preferred
  • The ability to create solutions through mapping product features to industry challenges
  • Bachelor’s degree plus life experiences that have developed critical thinking skills.

  • Master’s degree preferred
