About the Role: 
The Facilities Assistant is responsible for assisting with the day to day operations of the assigned office. Assist with projects such as reconfiguring buildings, moving office space, and other light facilities functions.

What You’ll Do:
Operation of mailroom - incoming mail/outgoing mail/overnight shipping.
Sort and deliver mail and packages and coordinate interoffice mail to other company offices.
Perform reception duties while receptionist is at lunch or on breaks.
Perform office maintenance and repairs.
Assist with office relocation's and office setups for new and lateral hires.
Organize and maintain equipment and furniture in facilities, office and storage area.
Perform daily inspection and maintenance of office space, common areas and furnishings. Clean and rectify any issues as they are discovered.
Assist Facilities staff with furniture and content relocation.
Assists with office temperature reading and monitoring.
Monitors and stocks inventory supplies.
Monitors copiers, scanners and fax machines throughout the building to ensure proper operation; changes toner cartridges and troubleshoots problems and calls for service.
Move furniture and set up conference rooms for meetings and events.

What Do You Need to Succeed:
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer knowledge, including familiarity of Microsoft Word and Outlook.
Ability to organize workflow of clerical and support functions.
Strong customer service orientation.
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team

Additional Skills That Could Set You Apart: 
1+ year applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge.
High school diploma.
