The Job:

Field marketing team is seeking a passionate, forward thinking, strategically minded marketer to join Epicor as our APAC Customer Marketing Manager, reporting to the APAC Marketing Director based in Australia. The customer marketer will work closely with the regional team of marketers and sales leaders to build strong relationships with existing customer base through a variety of engaging marketing programs. Additionally, the customer marketer will foster and grow customer references and advocacy and collaborate closely with central customer success team on customer success stories and testimonials. What you will be doing:
  • Develop, recommend, and create a region wide marketing plan and a strategic omni-channel campaigns strategy focused on key goals of the business to foster growth. Follow with execution, and continually optimise programs and activities in view of performance (grow ROI).
  • Design and implement marketing lead generation programs for existing base of customers, with tools, and guidelines to be used by the business development and sales team.
  • Manage customer days (live and virtual, various formats) across region and industries, help manage and execute two annual customer conferences in region, including awards programs.
  • Work closely with marketing peers in and outside of region, sales stakeholders, finance, and other central teams globally to enable successful delivery of programs with ROI.
  • Analyze and provide recommendations based on reporting and measurement to determine the effectiveness of programs.
  • Create consistent communication with sales mid and senior level leadership to promote awareness of programs, provide activity updates, and solicit feedback.
  • Collaborate with other team members in region and globally to develop print and electronic communications, web presence, events, thought leadership, sales support materials, social media and other efforts that align with sales and business goals.
  • Responsible for sourcing content, with excellent writing skills, for publishing of email comms, landing pages, flyers, promotional content and customer newsletters across region.
  • Negotiate contracts and arrangements with outside vendors supplying services or materials in support of marketing programs and effective management of budget.
  • Manage dedicated budget according to company’s processes and reporting requirements whilst keeping transparency of spend and forecasts, and comply with strict financial discipline.

You bring (most) of this:

  • 8+ years applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge in marketing 
  • 3+ years of specialized industry experience 
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong verbal and writing/proofreading skills (English, Chinese is desirable but not prerequisite) and positive, high-energy, team-focused attitude are a must.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills internally and externally.
  • Experience creating and executing marketing campaigns and programs that drive customer engagement and advocacy.
  • Experience working in a dynamic and fast-moving environment, independent thinker, and a team player, adaptable and highly self-motivated, with proven collaboration experience.
  • Strong organisational, prioritisation and project management skills in a complex global work environment
  • Analytical skills to determine marketing effectiveness and ROI of customer engagement efforts.
  • Industry experience across IT / Technology. Manufacturing knowledge an advantage.
  • Demonstrated passion and proven ability to learn technology quickly.
  • Knowledge of enterprise software solutions
