About the Role:
Responsible for overseeing all aspects of a customer’s infrastructure by performing the installation of add-ons and upgrades including site evaluations of equipment/systems. Evaluates and installs new products to ensure operational efficiencies and identify potential business risks. Reviews hardware purchases and orders to ensure consulting engagements for infrastructure (servers and network), managed services (cloud and security), Point of Sale, and other related areas are attached on each sales order. Responsible for executing and billing of consulting and installation services.

What You’ll Do:
Provides deep subject matter expertise across multiple infrastructure platforms
Conducts technology reviews and audits with sales teams to ensure all existing solutions are built to enterprise standards and meet business needs and provides additional recommendations as necessary
Keeps current with industry technology trends to identify solutions that may benefit our customers
Identifies evaluates and performs future technology solutions to support growth and organizational maturity within our client base
Manages and administers installation and upgrade projects for Epicor’s customers
Works with Hardware Product Management and sales teams in the selection of appropriate third-party vendors based on established qualifications
Negotiates and writes proposals and statements of work for initiatives. Oversees and/or performs T&M work against sales orders and ensures the appropriate billing occurs.
Promotes security and data loss prevention strategies
Assesses customer environments and updates corporate records as necessary
Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.

What You Need to Succeed:
Associates degree preferred and/or 3+ Years of experience within IT, preferably in a service environment 
Fundamental knowledge of computer hardware and components including Server and cloud technology, Networks, and Storage. 
Demonstrated ability planning, organizing and ability to work independently and within a team of industry professionals
Customer Service experience skills 
Exceptional time management and resource planning skills
Requires good oral and written communication skills to convey knowledge in easy-to-understand terms to non-technical decision makers

Additional Skills That Could Set You Apart:
Experience in deploying Retail equipment including POS and Credit Card devices, Routers, Firewalls, Switches as well as WiFi and Mobile technology 
Project Management experience
MS based applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook and Windows
