About the Automotive Team:
Automotive at Epicor is a unique function that focuses on driving sales, increasing profits, and surpassing customer satisfaction with powerful automotive solutions. Epicor’s automotive branch has 4 primary specialties which include:
- Automotive Aftermarket- From the front counter to the back office, Epicor Eagle for the Aftermarket can help improve service, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Automotive Parts Manufacturing- Epicor has the software solutions to maximize efficiency and flexibility and keep business on pace with the global automotive market.
- Automotive Service and Repair- Maximize productivity and profitability with Epicor’s solutions for required maintenance and repairs to ensure that same-day diagnosis, parts acquisition and repair.
- Commercial Vehicle Parts Distributors- Epicor pioneered IT for the motor vehicle aftermarket in the 1970s and is the only company that develops and delivers comprehensive aftermarket software solutions for every step in the industry value chain.
About the Internship:
The Epicor internship is designed for rising Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors. It is a paid, 10-week program that provides hands-on work experience in a professional setting for students exploring career options. The summer intern cohort will take part in a robust professional development curriculum, mentoring and regular feedback from supervisors to facilitate professional growth. The summer internship program will start June 03, 2024, and end August 09, 2024.
About Industry Data Analytics:
Industry Data Analytics- Epicor’s broad scale cloud data warehousing and advanced predictive analytics based on aggregate transactional data across entire industries –including Automotive, Electrical Distribution, and Hardware/Retail. This is a cross functional team of product managers, data scientists, analysts, and data/software engineers. Analyze large amounts of data and build expressive data visualizations.
Qualifications:
Interested applicants should meet the following criteria:
Currently a rising junior, junior, rising senior or senior enrolled in an undergraduate program OR graduate student who has completed at least one semester of coursework.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Customer centric, self-starter, able to work both independently and in a team setting
• Analytical, results-driven, and have a solution-oriented approach
• Strong listening, verbal and written communication skills, including virtual presentations
• Strong organizational, project management and time management skills
