Learning and Development Consultant, Sr

The Learning and Development Consultant, Sr takes the leadership role in designing, developing and delivering the organization’s blended learning experience, driving the delivery of Talent and Leadership Development strategy for Epicor.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Engage with stakeholders from across the organisation, carrying out capability assessments and uncovering learning needs.
  • Design, develop, deliver, evaluate, and maintain a range of blended learning interventions, including technical, behavioural and leadership programmes.
  • Use of digital tools to create flexible and innovative learning programmes.
  • Applying adult learning theories to ensure employees get the best out of their development.
  • Driving a culture of continuous professional development (CPD).
  • Facilitate learning interventions, delivering in person and virtual training, coaching, mentoring and skill/knowledge sharing sessions. Host Q&A and business simulations. Shadow learners and provide feedback.
  • Creating a coaching culture in the organisation.
  • Monitor and evaluate how effectively learning has been transferred to employees.
  • Assist the Learning and Development Manager in determining direction, timelines. Schedules and activities for Talent and Leadership Development Projects.
  • Schedule training classes, select and book venues/equipment and coordinate the use of externally developed training programs, where required.
  • Provide learning and development support to employees across the organization.
  • Work effectively with the rest of the Talent and Leadership Development team, collaborating regularly with the Instructional Designers to build effective blended Learning solutions.
  • Ensure proper documentation and cataloging of course attendance and other records.
  • Maintain own skills / certifications in learning and development and for all areas of responsibility within your role.
  • Maintain a detailed working knowledge of the current business/Learning and Development strategy and objectives relating to the specific projects, which are allocated by the Learning and Development Manager.

  • Excellent English, verbal, and written communication skills, including presentations.
  • Ability to deliver successful interactive training.
  • Customer centric, results oriented, self-starter and able to work independently.
  • Creativity and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including ability to navigate working relationships with product management, support, professional services and externally with customers from varied industries.

Qualification

  • 5+ years applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge.
  • 2+ years of specialized/industry experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
