The Accounting Manager is responsible for maintaining accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial information and lead the general accounting processes. They will play a vital role in the organization and will impact the business by aligning the performance of their team with the overarching departmental and organizational goals.

• Manage the monthly close process (calendars, reviews, reconciliations, analysis, reporting)

• Manage worldwide consolidations of 50+ entities and allocations

• Review or prepare key reconciliations, journal entries, and analytical procedures

• Prepare, review, and approve high volume of journal entries and below the line reconciliations

• Oversee and implement effective accounting policies, procedures, and controls (“SOX-like quality”)

• Recommend and assist to develop financial systems solutions and requirements for new or enhancements to existing applications

• Assist with the execution of quarterly reviews and year-end financial audits

• Drive to continuously improve the accounting and reporting process

• Supervise and develop professional staff

• Assist on special projects and provides ad hoc reports as needed

• Technology, SaaS, or related industries experience preferred

• Experience in evaluating and streamlining processes

• Experience with multi-company and multi-location environment

• Experience with international accounting, including multi-currency translations

• Hands-on experience with fully integrated accounting system

• Solid knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel

• Ability to multitask and shift priorities as needed to meet deadlines

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail and accuracy

• Effective verbal and written communication skills

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and instill a sense of urgency

• Strong team building skills
