About the Role:

The Epicor mission is to be the cloud vendor of choice in the markets we serve. Our cloud-based business solutions are experiencing radical growth and innovation. We are seeking a talented, high-energy Software Development Manager with ERP Experience to join the Tools and Platform team that enables Epicor Kinetic. This influential leader will drive the development of our technology and tools whilst working closely with a

team of architects, engineers, Cloud DevOps, and other functional leaders throughout Epicor, to support the integrated delivery to our customers.  There is no better time to help customers take advantage of the power of cloud-based technologies.

Responsibilities include direct management of a team of 6-8 engineers, analysis, planning and delivery of product enhancements and quality improvements, working with architects on analysis and design of new capabilities.  Successful candidates will be strong leaders who can prioritize well, communicate clearly, and have a consistent track record of delivery.

What You’ll Do:

  • Mentor and Development team encouraging skills growth and providing opportunities to excel
  • Work with Product Owners and the PD team to plan and develop new features using scrum agile practices
  • Provide technical leadership, direction, and guidance on developing innovative solutions.
  • Recommend the development of software and software tools used for design, infrastructure, and platforms.
  • Administer departmental policies and procedures, evaluates results and performance, and assists with the development of new products, plans, and policies.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Software development experience designing, programming, delivering, and maintaining software solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to comprehend the details of a technical product requirements, define a strategy for successful product development and deployment.
  • Leadership, mentorship, and people management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, analytical skills, and thorough understanding of product development.


Additional Skills That Could Set You Apart:

  • 10+ years progressive experience and demonstrated success/knowledge.
  • 5+ years managing and developing employees.
  • 4+ years of specialized/industry experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience working in a C#/.Net Core/Azure environment
  • Continuous improvement mindset
