Description & Requirements

Product Development Manager- Peterborough (Hybrid)

The Manager, Product Development leads a team with responsibility to design, build and maintain Epicor applications.

Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Lead a team of product developers with direction, coaching, and support to ensure successful execution of objectives.
  • Mentor and support product developers and software testers, review deliverables, and provide performance feedback. Identify and address staff training and development needs.
  • Establish functional requirements and review solutions to ensure organizational needs are met. Select and oversee implementation of one or more software development methodologies.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to understand and communicate project and team objectives. Provide timely and clear work direction to deliver outcomes.
    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Ability to develop and mentor others.
  • Strong communication skills with an analytical mindset.
  • Thorough understanding of modern software development.
  • A strong technical background (ideally with C#, .Net, SQL Server, React).
  • Understanding of cloud technologies (ideally with Azure, docker, k8s).
  • Customer orientation.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge.
  • 3+ years managing and developing employees.
  • 3+ years of specialized/industry experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
