Role Summary:

 

The Manager, Product Development leads a team with responsibility to design, build and maintain Epicor applications. As Epicor Product makes it way to the top to enable a world of better business, you will have  the opportunity to develop and sharpen your skills, and to work interdepartmentally on a global level. The technology stacks used to build this product for our web offering are .NET,C#, Angular.

 

What You’ll Do:

 

  • Design, develop and maintain Epicor Products.
  • Manages team of engineers by overseeing performance of individual team members and the team as a whole
  • Lead a team of product developers with direction, coaching, and support to ensure successful execution of objectives.
  • Provide timely and clear work direction to deliver outcomes.
  • Establish functional requirements and review solutions to ensure organizational needs are met.
  • Estimates, prioritizes, plans, assigns and coordinates development activities.
  • Work with and lead agile development team and to ensure development process are tracked and followed.
  • Identifies and addresses staff training and career / development needs
  • Understand product architecture and demonstrate the same as required
  • Work with developers on their career plan and provide performance feedback

 


  

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

 

  • Hands on experience in .NET/C#
  • Angular experience would be great plus.
  • Experience working in Agile environment.
  • Experience developing/managing enterprise application. Product development background would be great to have.
  • Understanding of design patterns, principle and Object-Oriented Design.
  • Domain experience on ERP or related product areas.
  • Setting up process for code quality & coding practices.
  • Interface effectively and collaborate with teams, peers, and management to develop solutions and ensure stakeholder buy-in.
  • Strong analytical, communication and written skills with the ability to convey clear and concise thoughts and ideas.
  • Should have good interpersonal and team management skills.
  • Previous experience of team metrics on efficiency, productivity, quality, attendance, innovation etc.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering (or appropriate computer science related certificate) OR MCA
  • 10 to 14 years’ experience in Development and minimum of 2 years as a Development Manager
