About the Role:

The Mgr, Sales manages a sales team responsible for generating revenue from new or existing customers, for a specific product or geography. Responsible for an annual team quota. Manages effectiveness and provides sales leadership.

What you'll do:

− Manages and develops a sales team to effectively achieve company goals.
− Ensures attendance of new direct reports to sales training to ensure maximum efficiency.
− Conducts weekly progress meetings with the sales team.
− Responsible for an annual team quota. Supervises day to day operations of the team and advises direct reports on meeting schedules or resolve technical problems.
− Assists on the development of sales team strategy. Helps team achieve strategic team goals and revenue targets.
− Removes operational/organizational barriers that may impede the success to the team.
− Coordinates cross-functionally to increase revenue growth and customer/partner loyalty.
− Coaches and mentors direct reports.
− Develops and manages schedules, performance requirements.

Preferred Skills:

− Strong ability in sales training, coaching and people development.
− Experience in the software industry

Other Qualifications:
− 8+ years applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge
− 3+ years managing and developing employees
− 3+ years of specialized/industry experience
− Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
