The Professional Services Consultant, Sr takes the leadership role in consulting engagements and assumes responsibility for performing implementation tasks and producing quality deliverables. Drives implementation deliverables and assist the Project Manager with organizing and controlling tasks within the work plan. Takes a leadership position on project teams, engagements, and respective consulting practices. Works with clients in an independent basis for engagements with little supervision.


The Role:

The Professional Services Learning and Development Consultant, Sr takes the leadership role in designing, developing and delivering the Professional Services blended learning experience, driving the delivery of the Learning and Development strategy for Professional Services.


What you’ll do:
  • Coach and mentor Professional Services Learning and Development Consultants, ensuring a high standard of service delivery.
  • Assist Professional Services Learning and Development Manager in determining direction, timelines.
  • Schedules and activities for Epicor Consulting Academy Projects.
  • Design and develop small simple learning paths and associated blended learning materials such as: instructional text, video/audio scripts, simulations , Q&A’s, learning guides/workbooks, sharepoint content, online Courses, facilitator/training manuals and quick reference guides.
  • Facilitate learning paths, delivering in person and virtual training, coaching, mentoring and skill/knowledge sharing sessions.
  • Host Q&A and business simulations. Shadow learners and provide feedback.
  • Gain approval of design plans from Professional Services Learning and Development Manager.
  • Schedule training sessions, select and book venues/equipment and coordinate the use of externally-developed training programs, where required.
  • Provide Onboarding Support to all Professional Services new hires.
  • Collaborate with the Instructional Designers to build effective blended Learning assets that support the Professional Services Learning Paths for all Industries, Products, Roles and Regions.
  • Maintain Professional Services learning assets.
  • Ensure proper documentation and cataloging of course attendance and other records.
  • Keep up on skills / certifications for new or enhanced products.
  • Maintain a detailed working knowledge of the current business/Learning and Development strategy and objectives relating to the specific projects, which are allocated by the Professional Services Learning and Development Manager.
  • Establish solid working relationships throughout the Epicor and Customer communities.

  • Excellent English, verbal and written communication skills, including presentations.
  • Ability to deliver successful interactive training.
  • Customer centric, results oriented, self-starter and able to work independently.
  • Creativity and problem solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including ability to navigate working relationships with product management, support, professional services and externally with customers from varied industries.
  • Experience of administration of a Learning Management System.


 Additional Skills That Could Set You Apart:
  • 5+ years applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge
  • 2+ years of specialized/industry experience
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
