Procurement Consultant 

The Procurement Consultant will report to the Director of Procurement. The Procurement Consultant role is responsible for the development and maintenance of strategic relationships with key stakeholders. This role will manage a significant spend profile for software and services providers in partnership with the aligned business units.

What you will be doing:

  • Conduct sourcing events via process driven methodologies (RFX) including conducting market research and spend analysis
  • Develop collaborative partnerships with business stakeholders to advise and influence supplier and sourcing strategies
  • Review, draft and lead negotiations of third-party supplier contracts in cooperation with key internal stakeholders including business stakeholders, Legal, InfoSec, IT etc to secure the most favorable commercial and legal terms 
  • Proactively manage strategy and contract events including renewals
  • Provide guidance on policy and practice internally. 
  • Collaborate on category plans, team structure and goals 
  • Develop and execute against multi-term negotiation strategies, conduct analysis to determine best overall value and support recommendations
  • Prepare and present up to Executive level summaries and analysis
