About the Role:

As a member of the Epicor Products Development team, you will develop and maintain our Products.  Our products provide easy-to-use mobile apps which business teams could use to run business operations on the go. The expectation from this role is to understand the mobile app landscape at Epicor, design & develop a new standardized hybrid framework for all the mobile apps across Epicor.

What You’ll Do:

As a Principal Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain our next-generation products

Should have wide exposure to designing and developing mobile apps in one or more technologies (React Native, Angular, Xamarin or Ionic)

You would closely with the Epicor Product Release Manager for schedule requirements and commitments.

Work with the Epicor Product Design team to ensure change requirements are clear and understood

Work with the Test / QA team for the progression of test errors.

Guide and mentor fellow team members in achieving their commitments

Extensive working experience in Security & performance optimization

Strong developer who will work in a variety of computer languages on a variety of applications that comprise the Epicor Product

Experience working in an Agile/SCRUM environment

Proven track record demonstrating ability to achieve stretch goals in a highly innovative and fast-paced environment

Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive

Sharp analytical abilities and proven design skills

Schedule the team for the development of roadmap and customer-funded developments and product defects

Responsible for management of the development tools and environment, with required layered and third party products that are required by the developers

What You Need to Succeed

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering (or appropriate computer science-related certificate) OR MCA

10+ years of experience in product development with 4+ yrs of experience in mobile app development

Hands-on experience on hybrid mobile app development technologies

Strong analytical and written and oral communication skills   

Well organized, strong attention to detail, and focus on quality
