Product Developer

The Product Developer at Epicor is responsible for designing, coding, testing, and maintaining Epicor for Distribution products by participating in all phases of the development process. You will get to work in cutting-edge technology using .NET framework, .NET Core, Azure Cloud development, and C#.NET to develop our powerful cloud-based SaaS using SQL Server as the backend and Angular as the front end. This is an exciting opportunity if you love learning, challenging yourself, are team-spirited, and want to be part of building an Epic Enterprise solution that provides flexible solutions for complex challenges.  The Product Developer works with other areas of the business to provide recommendations and mentors other team members.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Analyzes and implements detailed design specifications, provides feedback, and independently performs the work required from the design.
  • Analyzes requirements as well as clarifies scope and breadth of work tasks with Business Analysts and Product Managers.
  • Follows coding standards.
  • Provides input on internal training materials.
  • Communicate with quality assurance to validate work delivered and work quality.
  • May write installation scripts and programs.

What You Will Likely Bring:

  • Proficient in .NET framework, .NET Core, Azure Cloud development, C#.NET
  • Proficient in Microsoft SQL Server
  • Proficient in the design and development of REST API
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools like Git
  • Familiarity in Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and Javascript is a plus
  • Experience with working in an agile environment
  • Ability to learn new technology and industries quickly
  • Attention to detail
  • Joy for learning new technologies
  • Complex problem-solving skills
  • Analytical thinking skills

What Could Set You Apart:

  • 2+ years applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field. (or equivalent experience)
