About the Role:

Epicor is looking for a Product Manager, Sr. capable of driving strategic direction with a proven track record for successfully getting SaaS products to market in an agile environment. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to work for a leading global provider of retail solutions and to directly influence and drive the definition and strategy of our Retail Cloud applications. In this role you will be involved in all aspects of the product management lifecycle and work with a cross functional team to design solutions that support our customers’ growth and continue to differentiate Epicor’s solutions in the market.

The Product Manager, Sr will be responsible for end-to-end product management, gathering and prioritizing business and customer requirements, articulating them in the form of technical documentation focusing on detailed user stories and well-defined user experiences, owning acceptance through organizational enablement. The Product Manager contributes to the overall business plan of the division.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Helps to orchestrate strategic direction and priorities for applications.
  • Prioritizes product enhancements and customer requests.
  • Collaborates with other functional key stakeholders.
  • Assists in evaluating and updating pricing models based on customer value (ROI) analysis for modules.
  • Produce product and market requirement specifications, including customer profiles and detailed user stories based on prioritized requirements.
  • Work closely with the development organization through design, testing, and product release to deliver features to market.
  • Analyzes potential partner relationships for specific products and manages current partner relationships.
  • Mentors other team members.
  • Highly involved in the creation of a multi-year (& possibly global) product road map.
  • May run Cross-Functional Team meetings independently - dependent on size, type of portfolio, and product.
  • Keeps up with external trends to incorporate into products and processes.
  • Supports and provides input to the Product Marketing team in developing the go-to-market planning and execution, including reference customers, beta programs, sales training, sales materials, and demos.
  • Participate in customer- and partner-facing situations and user conferences as a product expert.

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Hands-on experience in strategic planning and business case development.
  • Expert knowledge in product management.
  • Advanced knowledge of ERP software (POS, Order Management, Analytics, Loyalty, eCommerce)
  • Strong analytical skills, financial acumen and strategic business capabilities.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Understanding of Agile methodology and software development lifecycle preferred.
  • Experience with SaaS.
  • This position requires travel to corporate offices and events in North America.

Qualifications:

  • Established progressive experience and demonstrated success/knowledge.
  • Prior years of specialized/industry experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
