Principal Product Manager

The Principal Product Manager at Epicor assumes a pivotal role in shaping the strategic trajectory of our products, actively participating in every facet of product management. This role also extends mentorship and assistance to fellow team members and the entire organization.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Leads the orchestration of strategic direction and priorities for applications (or a set of functionalities
    within an application).
  • Help drive Epicor’s integration vision by leading the orchestration of strategic direction and priorities for Epicor’s Automation Studio, Epicor’s Enterprise-grade workflow automation platform
  • Supports one or more partner relationships, including driving contractual and licensing discussions, co-innovation, and feature planning 
  • Act as advocate and expert for Automation Studio across Epicor, working closely with multiple product teams, support, professional services, and sales  
  • Ability to comfortably present at conferences, web conferences, and large meetings
  • Propose innovative solutions that will enhance customer’s capabilities.
  • Work closely with Product Development on defining and prioritizing product enhancements and customer requests. 
  • Responsible for managing a Product portfolio, roadmap, innovation index, and all phases of product
    management with a keen understanding of target markets. Works in partnership with the direct manager,
    peers, and Product Development.
  • Highly involved in the creation of a multi-year (& possibly global) product roadmap.
  • Prioritizes product enhancements and customer requests.
  • Responsible for evaluating and updating pricing models based on customer value (ROI) analysis for
    modules.
  • May run Cross-Functional Team meetings independently - dependent on size, type of portfolio, and
    product.
  • Supports and provides input to the Product Marketing team in developing the go-to-market planning and
    execution, including reference customers, beta programs, sales training, sales materials, and demos.
  • Runs Customer Advisory meetings.
  • Keeps up with external trends to incorporate into products and processes.

What You Will Likely Bring:

  • Expert knowledge in product management.Advanced knowledge of ERP software.
  • Strong analytical skills, financial acumen and strategic business capabilities.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Understanding of Agile methodology and software development lifecycle preferred.
  • Experience with SaaS.
  • Experience working with Software Automation/Workflow Automation tools such as Workado, Jitterbit, Zapier

What Could Set You Apart:

  • 8+ years of progressive experience and demonstrated success/knowledge in Product Management
  • 4+ years of specialized/industry experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
