Senior Product Marketing Manager- Digital Innovation

About the Role:

As the Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and delivering successful go-to-market strategies for your assigned multi-platform digital solutions, such as EDI and B2B data integration. Our digital solutions can transform our customers’ businesses and enable them to not only survive but thrive in the new economy. Your role is to be at the forefront of driving our customers’ digital evolution.

You will analyze the target markets, discover, and define market problems, develop differentiated messaging and positioning, and create compelling content that both drives demand for Epicor products and enables the sales organization to pitch and progress opportunities successfully. You will work with Product Management to define and implement a strategy derived from existing ideas and new ideas based on your experience, ongoing market research, and conversations with customers and analysts. You will work with sales and industry marketing to define the go-to-market strategic imperatives, helping them understand the product messaging and positioning, business scenarios, key benefits, and target customer. You will drive product launches to ensure organization-wide readiness for launch and successfully build momentum for new solutions.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop product messaging and positioning—creatively connect product functionality to meaningful benefits to customers while differentiating Epicor solutions in the industries we serve
  • Create and execute go-to-market strategies—drive buyer interest at the top of the marketing funnel and accelerate velocity through the pipeline
  • Launch products and releases—develop supporting content, align sales objectives to marketing plans, deliver sales training, and ensure organizational readiness
  • Sales enablement—communicate the value proposition of the products to the Sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process
  • Market and competitive intelligence—identify new market opportunities and business cases, and be the expert on your existing target markets, including sizing the opportunity, competition, buyer personas, buying criteria, and market problems
  • Cross-functional collaboration—work closely with key executives and colleagues in all key company functions

What You Need to Succeed:

  • 5+ years of software product marketing experience with at least 3 years of experience in SaaS product marketing
  • Ability to deliver and communicate the value proposition of the products and develop the sales tools that support the selling process of your products
  • Experience launching products, including development of content, aligning sales objectives to marketing plans, and delivery through appropriate channels
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; confident and compelling presenter
  • A desire to understand business challenges facing customers and the ability to align Epicor solutions that drive better business value outcomes
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in business or marketing (preferred)

Additional Skills That Could Set You Apart:

  • Pragmatic Marketing certification (or other product marketing training)
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, “get it done” environment that requires both strategic thinking as well as tactical execution
  • Experience marketing enterprise software and SaaS solutions, especially as these related to digital transformation and innovation initiatives
