Description & Requirements

About the role:

As a Product QA, Principal you will join a Product Engineering team working on Cloud-based Retail ERP product who designs, develop, and implement the test cases for the improvement of product quality following agile methodology. You will be in a critical role of certifying and quality for cloud-based Payment application SaaS which also has lot of device interaction.

This is a great opportunity for you to work on the Payment App product to uphold quality, perform inspections on the product, analyze data, identify trends in errors and monitor quality issues. You will also be involved in contribution to Payment Processor Certifications and Automation of product End to End.

What you will be doing:

  • Working on the foundation for building test cases and the execution of manual test cases and automation of test cases end to end.
  • Partnering with all stakeholders to support quality process as a collaborative effort to bring best-in-class software solutions to market. 
  • Providing feedback on the products being tested and working closely with development to resolve product quality issues. 
  • Analyze features and contribute to the development of quality products. 

What you will need to succeed:

  • A minimum of 10+ years of overall hands-on Quality Assurance experience.
  • Must have knowledge and working experience on the Payments Domain.
  • Excel at understand and have applied knowledge of Payment Methods(Card – EMV, Ecommerce, Retail) , Payment Gateway, Payment Processors.
  • Must have understanding and applied knowledge of Payment certifications with Host or Payment Processors.
  • Proficient working with devices of Pinpad (Vital), Scanner, Cashdrawer, Printer etc.
  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience on Automation end-to-end is a must.
  • Extensive knowledge in testing concepts, test processes, test design skills and testing techniques.
  • Extensive experience with Test Planning, Test Case creation, Test Case execution & defect tracking.
  • Strong ERP/Retail experience is nice to have.
  • Extensive knowledge of QA tools and methodologies along with proven coding skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team to deliver test plans and test cases successfully.
  • Extensive experience on the STLC process with deliverables on time and excellent quality.
  • Should have a proven record of delivering high-quality releases in a fast-paced environment.

What you will also need to have:

  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and critical thinking.
  • Tools like Jenkins/ Git/ Kibana Logging.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at same time.
  • Knowledge on Web, AWS/Cloud-based applications will be an added advantage.
  • Quick learner, self-starter, be proactive and able to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a dynamic.
