Professional Services Architect: 

The Professional Services Architect plays a critical role in the sales process by working closely with the sales and services teams to understand client requirements and develop tailored implementation solutions. This position demands a deep understanding of the company's services and the ability to translate client needs into service proposals.


This role involves assessing client requirements, designing best-practice professional services solutions, presenting them to potential clients, and creating comprehensive proposals and statements of work. The Professional Services Architect collaborates with cross-functional teams, maintains functional and technical expertise, responds to RFPs, and keeps up to date with business trends. Effective communication and strong technical knowledge are essential in this role, along with aligning proposed solutions with the organization's capabilities and client objectives.


What you will be doing:

•  Support sales teams by helping develop consulting engagement structure, proposals, and statements of work.

• Conduct current state capabilities and process assessments across business functions and apply best practices, industry research, and competitor research to drive an optimized future state capability and process architecture.

• Assist with prospect discovery sessions, demos, and planning meetings.

• Provide requirements definition to prospects and customers for implementations.

• Ensure a full and proper handoff of contracts from the sales process to the implementation process.

• Meet or exceed annual sales targets.

• Participate and attend User Group and customer functions to reinforce customer rapport.


What you'll bring:

• Proven ability to close new business

• Relevant experience in the Computer Software industry

• Confident and experienced negotiator able to drive revenue

• Ambitious and driven personality with a hunger for success

• Excellent presentation skills

• Ability to communicate effectively with prospects, customers, and executive staff

• Effective time management and ability to prioritize competing requests

• Knowledge of revenue forecasting

• Leadership and teambuilding skills

• Up to 50% travel


Qualifications:

•  3+ years of applicable consulting experience and demonstrated success/knowledge

•  2 years consulting in the manufacturing, distribution, or finance industry preferred 

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)

• Ongoing technical certifications to keep up with the industry
