About the Role:

The Professional Services Consultant, Sr works extensively with the Epicor Eclipse ERP distribution software. The senior consultant takes the leadership role in consulting engagements and assumes responsibility for performing implementation tasks and producing quality deliverables.  Drives implementation deliverables and assist the Project Manager with organizing and controlling tasks within the work plan. Takes a leadership position on project teams, engagements, and respective consulting practices. Works with clients in an independent basis for engagements with little supervision.

What You’ll Do:

  • Operate as the lead consultant on Epicor Eclipse software implementations
  • Coach and mentor PS Consultants ensuring consistent and high standards of service delivery.
  • Interact with members of cross-functional teams.
  • Assist Project Manager in determining direction, timelines, schedules and activities for an area of the implementation project.
  • Establish solid working relationships throughout the Epicor and Customer organizations.
  • Travel extensively in order to interact with customers on site.
  • Ensure all deliverables in area of responsibility are delivered on time and on budget.
  • Perform training and knowledge sharing with peers.
  • Perform customer core team training.
  • Keep up on skill / certifications for new or enhanced products.
  • Obtain certain level of certification in an area outside of core competency.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • 7+ years applicable supply chain or distribution experience.
  • 5+ years of consulting experience preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Epicor Eclipse ERP software.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • Ongoing technical certifications to keep up with industry
  • Ability to meet utilization targets and complete project deliverables on time
  • Project management skills and strong technical background are recommended.
  • Ability to perform work plans, identify resource requirements, establish priorities for available resources and monitor the performance of project tasks
  • Customer centric, results oriented, self-starter and able to work independently.
  • Strong listening, verbal and written communication skills, including virtual presentations.
  • Expertise in all core modules of the Epicor Eclipse software, CRM, Accounting, Warehouse Operations, BI.
  • Demonstrated knowledge across industry verticals that use Epicor Eclipse.
  • A valid driver’s license and passport
  • Ability and availability for overnight travel throughout North America as this position requires 60% to 80% overnight travel
