About the Role:  

The Professional Services Project Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, managing, and delivering client projects for our Prophet 21 Distribution software. 

What You’ll Do:  

•Coordinate and monitor activities of projects and client engagements, from inception to installation.

•Responsible for achieving billable utilization goals and customer satisfaction.

•Maintain overall control of project schedule, resources, budget, and scope.

•Ensure project plans and work products are based on approved and agreed-upon requirements.

•Certify that sufficient resources and funding are available for executing project activities.

•Conduct customer status calls and respond to client requests/questions in a timely manner, tracking and escalating risks, and issues, and recommending solutions to the customer Project Manager.

•Work with customers to create Project Change Requests should new project requirements outside of the original Statement of Work arise.   

•Interact with members of cross-functional teams.

•Responsible for ad hoc and medium-sized projects.

What You Need to Succeed:   

•Strong organizational, project management, time management, and strong methodology skills.

•Customer centric, results-oriented, self-starter, and able to work independently.

•Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills, including virtual presentations.

•Proficiency in MS Project, MS Office.

•Strong troubleshooting skills.

•Experience in managing stakeholders.

•Demonstrated ability to manage project risk.

•Manages expectations and establishes solid working relationships.  
•Available for infrequent travel.

•2+ years of applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge. 

•2+ years of project management and industry experience preferred.

•Experience leading multiple customer-facing projects at one time.

Additional Skills That Could Set You Apart:  

Distribution industry background.

Experience leading ERP implementation projects.

Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience).

PMP Certification
