About the Role:
We are seeking a Project Manager to join our Engineering Operations team, to support mostly on process mapping and definition but also on internal initiatives and support for operational tools like JIRA and Aha!. In this role, you will report to the Sr. Director, Global Product Portfolio Management and provide essential services to our entire Product Organization, comprising 1300+ employees. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to transformative initiatives that drive global visibility and governance within our Product Organization and is pivotal in driving process optimization and alignment with organizational objectives.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and facilitate process mapping sessions to document and analyze current business processes within the Product Organization.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and standardization, aligning with global objectives.
- Utilize process improvement methodologies and tools to assess and optimize processes.
- Develop comprehensive process documentation, including process flows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and guidelines.
- Develop change management strategies and training plans to ensure successful adoption of new processes.
- Provide support for operational tools, including JIRA and Aha!, used by the Product Organization.
- Implement best practices for tool utilization to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Plan, execute and manage internal initiatives to support the Product Organization, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
What You Need to Succeed:
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to work collaboratively and lead cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with process mapping, process improvement tools or methodologies is a plus.
- Familiarity working with software development teams using agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong project management skills with a willingness to learn and grow in the role.
- PMP certification is a plus.
- Ideally, some experience or familiarity with operational tools, including JIRA and Aha!
