About the Role: 
Our global consulting organization employs 800+ highly skilled consultants whose unmatched experience in delivering industry solutions that span manufacturing, distribution, retail, hospitality, and services is backed by a proven track record of successful ERP implementations around the world.  

As an Associate Resource Manager at Epicor, you will be responsible for Staffing and Resource Planning for our Professional Services team based in the UK. You will be assessing talent capabilities and availability and aligning them to project requirements. You will also manage the new / existing work allocation, monitor and report on utilisation levels in projects, recruitment / resource planning, and share insights with Professional Services Management Team.

What You’ll Do:
Provide Regional Consulting Managers and Project Managers with ongoing Resource Management to include the scheduling and coordination of Professional Services Consultants for Epicor client engagements based on their skills and availability within assigned area of responsibility.
Apply the Epicor deployment methodology having functional, technical and industry specific knowledge to take an organised, strategic and commercial approach to fill roles, with an eye for practice development and resource optimisation.
Effectively and efficiently coordinate consultant schedules by gaining a knowledge of the Epicor applications and related technologies. Includes learning the Epicor supported PSA systems, as well as a detailed understanding of the professional services engagement principles, tools, and methodologies.
Monitor resource utilisation, workload and weekly resource availability, delivering comprehensive management information, which is highly accurate and includes short, medium and long-term forecasts.
Responsible for third party resource scheduling and adherence to procedural policy.
Identify risk areas i.e. supply/demand, over/under staffed, shortage of a specific skill and review with Regional Consulting Managers.
Collaborate with our Partner community to staff subcontractors as necessary.
Continually review processes, practices, procedures and tools making recommendations for improvements and efficiencies to forecasting and the PS planning and scheduling processes
Influencing operational departments to improve their KPI’s through effective forecasting

What You Need to Succeed:
Good commercial understanding of profit-making organisations, meeting challenges and delivering commercial outcomes, goals and targets.
Persistent and flexible with the ability to assign the appropriate resource to the appropriate task in alignment with the Project Portfolio, Customer Requirements and the Epicor Annual Operating Plan.
Articulate, confident and persuasive team member who communicates well to achieve business objectives.
Strong negotiator and team player with a track record for building positive relationships with customers, peers and members of the wider Epicor business.
Detail orientation and accuracy skills for data and processes.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Customer centric, results oriented, self-starter with the ability to work independently
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Must be proficient with intermediate to excellent skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Skills That Will Set You Apart:
2+ years applicable experience in a relevant role, where resource planning, scheduling, forecasting and optimisation can be demonstrated.
Previous experience of working in a fast paced and deadline driven environment, where multi-tasking and a high level of communication are required.
FinancialForce PSA, alternative PSA or scheduling tool experience would be desirable.
