About the Role:

As a Pre-Sales Solution Engineer at Epicor, you will use your financial experience and demonstration skills to provide assistance to the salesforce (direct and channel) offering an in-depth knowledge of the business use and technical requirements of our products in order to close ERP sales opportunities.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Preparing for and conducting software demonstrations along with Sales team
  • Provide needed business expertise in such processes as financial operations, cost accounting, budgeting and planning, workflow and return on investment analysis.
  • Act as a product and industry expert liaison between the sales force and customer
  • Act as a liaison with the Product Managers to discuss potential product development
  • Conduct customer or prospect webinars
  • 30% travel, domestic

 

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience of presales within the ERP industry or equivalent operations experience as a user of ERP
  • Good understanding of accounting best practices and financial processes in manufacturing companies
  • Background of success in supporting both direct and channel sales
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry with an emphasis on financial management
  • Successful execution experience of giving customer presentations / demonstrations
