Senior Cloud ERP Solution Architect

As a pre-sales Cloud Solution Architect at Epicor, you will use your experience to provide assistance to the sales force (direct and channel) offering an in-depth knowledge of the technical requirements and business use of our products in order to close ERP Cloud/SaaS opportunities.

What you will be doing:

  • Work with the Epicor Sales team to develop and communicate customer Cloud/SaaS deployment recommendations for prospects and customers
  • Prepare for and conduct cloud infrastructure readiness analysis discussions with prospects and customers
  • Prepare for and conduct Cloud offering presentations and webcasts
  • Provide needed SaaS technical, infrastructure and business expertise during Epicor pre-sales process
  • Act as a technical resource and liaison between the sales force and customer IT groups including administrators and developers
  • Act as a liaison with Epicor operations and Product Management teams to understand, position, and improve product Cloud/SaaS product offerings
  • Provide thought leadership on Cloud/SaaS ERP concepts, trends and competition
  • 50% travel, domestic

What you will likely bring:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience of presales within the ERP industry or equivalent operations experience as an ERP administrator
  • Background of success in supporting both direct and channel sales
  • Effective cross-department collaboration
  • Experience with public (Azure, AWS, etc.) and private cloud infrastructures
  • Experience with Windows Server infrastructure requirement definition, including servers, SANs, VPNs, and workstations
  • Experience with positioning SaaS topics such as disaster recovery, high availability, security, reliability, and compliance
  • Experience in the manufacturing, distribution, or finance industry
  • Understand and effectively communicate the technical aspects of our SaaS products to both technical and non-technical stakeholders ranging from the C-Suite to IT
  • Successful candidates may have worked for companies such as: SAP, Microsoft, Infor, Sage, Netsuite or other ERP companies or Value Added Resellers (VARs)
