Senior Solution Engineer

The Pre-Sales Solution Engineer serves as a trusted partner to the salesforce (direct and channel) by providing in-depth knowledge of the technical requirements and business use of our products in order to close ERP sales opportunities. This role will be responsible for solutions across multiple Epicor product lines.

What you will be doing:

• Coach and mentor Solution Engineers ensuring consistent and high standards of service delivery.

• Communicate with the sales team on new business opportunities, translate client’s technical requirements to solution, drive the technical discussions, deliver custom demonstrations, and implement technical proofs-of-concept.

• Conduct technical presentation of company products, manage POC and trial processes with the clients.

• Establish outstanding business relationships and partnerships with the clients by demonstrating a high level of technical expertise, understand performance characteristics and establish credibility with the clients.

• Influence target clients by presenting company products values and benefits and by demonstrating product architectures and assisting with cost evaluation and pricing issues.

• Gather requirements and present to Product Development team.

What you will likely bring:

• Background of success in supporting both direct and channel sales

• Experience in the manufacturing, distribution industry

• Documented experience of giving customer presentations / demonstrations

• Successful candidates may have worked for companies such as: SAP, Microsoft, Infor, Sage, NetSuite or other ERP companies or Value-Added Resellers (VARs).


• 5+ years applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge.

• 2+ years of specialized/industry experience

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
