The Role:

As a Presales Consultant at Epicor, you will use your experience to provide support to the salesforce (direct and channel) offering an in-depth knowledge of the technical requirements and business use of our products to close sales opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have a vibrant personality coupled with good experience of CPQ (Configure, Price and Quote) solutions and or product configurators. You will be responsible for working with the sales team to support sales efforts in client-facing meetings, calls, and projects. You will develop, build, and lead custom presentations and demonstrations that will enhance the sales process and meet the customer’s expectations.

 What You’ll Do:

  • Support the sales team in their sales campaigns by helping identify and quantifying Epicor’s value proposition and best solution
  • As a dynamic presenter you are confident and relish presenting to C-level executives’ senior stakeholders who have a vested interest in the solution and business goals.
  • Perform discovery sessions, workshops, webinars to uncover business needs and drivers including documenting the output.
  • Provide business expertise by documenting processes and providing workflow analysis, in areas such as Manufacturing.
  • Provide input to proposals and tender responses
  • Support potential customers in their evaluation of our solutions
  • Work with the Professional Services team to ensure that the project is correctly scoped and, at time of order, is handed over seamlessly.
  • Act as product expert in liaisons between the salesforce and the customer
  • Act as an advisor to Product Managers to:
    • Discuss and provide input to potential product development
    • Test output from product development
  • Strong understanding of cloud or web solutions
  • Must be able to travel to customer sites throughout Europe.

What You’ll Need:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience as a sales engineer/presales consultant preferably gained within an IT Enterprise or ERP Software company.
  • Experience working with manufacturing companies
  • Strong understanding of cloud or web solutions
  • Good working knowledge/experience of other business systems such as CRM, ERP is vital as the CPQ solutions will integrate with these types of solutions.
  • Critical thinker you are analytical, methodical, and skilled at problem solving, you enjoy brainstorming, mapping out issues that solve business issues and problems.
  • A quick thinker you can quickly formulate a concise answer to questions
  • Strong attention to detail and detailed orientated in your approach to work.
  • Previous experience presenting software to customers or stakeholders.
  • A people person you enjoy creating and developing strong relationships with people from different background and cultures.
  • Curious by nature you are a life-long learner, and you enjoy learning new technologies, products, and business processes.
  • Must be fluent in English and French to business level both written and verbal
  • Very comfortable in client facing environments and presentations
  • Bachelor's degree or similar

Skills That Will Set You Apart:

  • Programming experience
  • 3D visualization and graphics
  • Mechanical and/or manufacturing engineering experience with a focus in CAD
  • Advanced user of MS Office suite, Browsers, and Smartphones
  • Advanced user of web conferencing tools and conference call solutions
