Description & Requirements

The EMEA Business Manager is responsible for supporting the Sales and Pre Sales teams to generate demand for Epicor Professional Services across the region.  They will set the strategy and vision for how Professional Services works in sales cycles for new and existing customers.  The success will be measured by the volume of bookings (Professional Services Sold) and quality of bookings (Professional Services delivered as planned).  This role includes building highly effective working relationships with Sales, Pre Sales, Professional Service Leaders, prospects and customers. 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coaches and mentors Professional Services participants in the sales cycle.
  • Works with the VP Professional Services and the Regional VPs for sales to set the vision and targets for the Business Consulting team.
  • Works with VARs, Alliance and SI partners to build joint implementation propositions.
  • Provides Professional Services leadership in the sales cycle, engages with key stakeholders to demonstrate the value of Professional Services.
  • Works with Sales and Pre Sales teams to develop compelling implementation strategies
  • Builds implementation proposals, estimates and Statements of Work (SOWs) for sales opportunities
  • Engages the Professional Services delivery team to plan projects that will deliver successful outcomes to our customers
  • Cultivate opportunities with existing customers to move them to cloud and drive deeper adoption.
  • Typically manages bookings of $20m +

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Experience and success in selling services (consulting, managed services, cloud, support, education)
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota attainment
  • Strong talent management and organizational effectiveness skills
  • Strong communication, organizational, motivational and interpersonal skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, ability to present to large and small audiences.
  • Ability to negotiate price, other concessions and terms and conditions.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and conflict resolution abilities
  • Ability to present face to face or remotely
  • Effectively communicate with customers, field consultants, executives, and co-workers
  • Ability to travel up to 50%


  • 7+ years managing and developing multi-discipline teams, preferably with international reach across multiple service types
  • 3+ years of product support or consulting experience preferred
  • Ongoing technical certifications to keep up with industry
  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree preferred, but not essential
