Systems Operations Engineer

Are you a tech-savvy problem solver with a passion for ensuring the seamless operation of IT systems? We're seeking a Systems Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in maintaining, optimizing, and safeguarding our IT infrastructure. If you have the experience and skills required to excel in this role, we want to hear from you!


What you will be doing:

  • Systems Maintenance and Support: Install, maintain, and provide expert support for a range of IT systems, including storage, cloud, backups, patching, Windows/Linux servers, and services.
  • Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Collaborate to troubleshoot system issues, ensuring swift and effective problem resolution.
  • Backup and Disaster Recovery: Contribute to the creation and management of Backup and Disaster Recovery implementations, safeguarding our data and operations.
  • Automation and Scripting: Utilize cutting-edge scripting technologies to streamline tasks, ensuring efficiency and repeatability in system management.
  • Operational Excellence: Develop and adhere to operational policies and procedures to ensure the smooth operation of our large enterprise environment.
  • Security and Vulnerability Management: Keep systems up to date, actively addressing vulnerabilities to maintain a secure and reliable IT environment.
  • 24/7 Support: Participate in on-call duties, contributing to the "follow the zone" approach for 24/7 support alongside a dedicated team.


What you will likely bring:

  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, working cohesively with colleagues.
  • A minimum of 3+ years of applicable experience in IT support, demonstrating success and knowledge in the field.
  • A minimum of 2+ years of specialization in Windows and Linux server administration.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
