Description & Requirements

Role Summary/Purpose: 

This position will be based in our India Technology Center, located in Bangalore, India. Our support organization is focused on customer satisfaction and comprised of highly skilled and well-motivated Support Analysts. As a Sr EDI technical analyst, you should have EDI industry knowledge and understanding the process of electronically exchanging business documents in a standard format. Job Requirements: 

• Knowledge of various file transfer protocols/ communication protocols: FTP, FTPS, SFTP, AS2. 

• Knowledge of various EDI standards: ANSI, X12, EDIFACT. 

• Should know EDI Transaction Flow and EDI structure. 

• Mapping experience/Understanding the Maps which are already built. 

• Set up new EDI transactions for new customers and monitor existing EDI transactions from trading partners. 

• Investigate recurring EDI issues from all customers and identify a solution to prevent future. 

• Guide customers to appropriate EDI solutions that work well for their system. 

• Testing and debugging the system. 

• Knowledge on how EDI integrates with ERP. 

• Implementation & onboarding a new partner. 

• Time spent creating documentation of any kind (whether it is for internal purposes, or for client use) 

• Research and resolve inquiries by using Knowledge Base, enhanced troubleshooting skills, partnering with team members, or by recreating the issue in test environment. 

• Team player with the ability to work independently. 

• Strong, clear, and professional communication skills, both written and verbal. 

• Documents that are commonly worked on: 810, 820, 850, 855, 856, 860, 997, etc.,

You will have ideally: 

• Experience with Office 365 Applications, such as Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel. 

• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing. 

• Customer experience skills, and the desire to help them. 

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. 

• Experience in MySQL/MSSQL will be a value add to this role. 

• 4-6 years of applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge. 

• Any B.E. degree or a Masters / bachelor’s in computer science if non-engineering.
