Description & Requirements

Technical Application Specialist

The Technical Application Specialist diagnoses, troubleshoots and test solutions in Kinetic/ ERP product in financial area, documents and escalates issues as necessary.

What you will be doing:

  • Confers with customers via email or chat to diagnose system problem, troubleshoot, repair and test solutions. Fully documents and escalates if necessary.
  • Responds to situations where standard procedures have failed to isolate or correct system or software failures through customer-centric interpersonal skills and providing functional product knowledge.
  • Usage of financial/ accounting knowledge in resolving clients' (CSF) issues in ERP Financial area. 
  • Communicating system malfunction issues with Development Team and providing clients with timely updates on correction delivery.
  • Stays up-to-date with ERP software updates and/or changes to be able to provide timely and accurate solutions to customers.
  • Addresses concerns brought up by other departments such as Product management, Professional Services or Sales.
  • Assists in mentoring other team members.
  • Contributes and uses department's knowledge base articles and FAQ's.

What you will likely bring:

  • Experience in working with ERP System
  • Knowledge of specific system application fundamentals and business processes
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Customer experience skills
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • 3+ years applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge.
  • Knowledge of financial, manufacturing, retail or distribution business processes.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL would be beneficial.
