Description & Requirements

Territory Manager

The Territory Manager is responsible for selling Epicor products to prospects in the south central territory within the Building Supply ERP space. Manages sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning. Participates in the development, presentation and sales propositions. Negotiates pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale.

What you will likely be doing:

  • Manages a sales territory, vertical and/or geographical. 
  • Qualifies opportunities with the aim of maximizing leads. 
  • Plans and implements sales campaigns. 
  • Coordinates with solution sales and professional services teams with retailers 10-300M. 
  • Inputs ideas and participates in marketing events. 
  • Understands the business requirements of prospects and customers. 
  • Provides accurate and timely sales forecasts. 
  • Manages the short- and medium-term pipeline. 
  • Maintains third party relationships. 
  • Updates and maintains CRM data base and performs weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting for the assigned territory. 
  • 50% travel is expected in support of sales efforts. Territory includes CO, NM, NE, IA, TN, TX, LA, MS, AR, OK, MO

What you will likely bring:

  • Proven track record of solution-sales success in the Building Supply vertical
  • Accomplished track record of selling multi-level to business, technical and IT people 
  • Business application (ERP, Supply Chain and CRM) Background of ERP markets and business preferred 
  • Ability to quickly qualify opportunities and key strategic positions for each new project 
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with senior management of the defined target markets

What could set you apart:

  • 3+ years applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge 
  • High school diploma 
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience managing a territory or selling ERP into the Building Supply vertical is required
  • Located in south central US
