We are looking for an Angular Developer to join our awesome framework team and help contribute to our first-class, streamlined user experience framework within Epicor. We want a team member who strives to develop quality solutions using Angular best practices. As an Angular Developer, you will implement framework components that will empower application developers to build high quality applications against Epicor’s ERP systems in the form of a mobile and web applications.

Angular Developer duties and responsibilities

  • Develop Angular components, services, and directives within the Epicor UI Framework.

  • Perform product analysis and development tasks of increasingly complex nature which may require extensive research and analysis.

  • Write unit tests for the components and services.

  • Make design and technical decisions for Angular projects.

  • Ensuring high performance, and high-quality code that is well documented and adheres to Epicor’s coding standards and our design system standards.

  • Work closely with the Epicor development community as it relates to the consumption of the Epicor UI framework.

Angular Developer requirements and qualifications

  • 2-3 years’ experience with Angular v2+

  • Strong expertise with HTML, CSS, and writing cross-browser compatible code.

  • Good understanding of AJAX and JavaScript Dom manipulation Techniques

  • Experience with RESTful services

  • Strong in JavaScript build tools like grunt or gulp

  • Strong in any one of the modern JavaScript MV-VM/MVC frameworks (AngularJS, Angular, JQuery, ASP.NET MVC)

  • Familiar with testing frameworks (Ex. Jasmine)

  • Test runner framework (Ex. Karma)

  • Experience working on complex Angular applications, directives, controllers, services.

  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.

  • Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering or relative experience.
