Solution Engineer – Manufacturing Software Solutions

About the Role:
As a Pre-Sales Solution Engineer at Epicor, you will use your experience to provide assistance to the sales force (direct and channel) offering an in-depth knowledge of the technical requirements and business use of our products in order to close ERP sales opportunities.
What You’ll Do:
- Preparing for and conducting software demonstrations along with Sales team.
- Provide needed business expertise in such processes as sales, production and financial operations, cost accounting, budgeting and planning, workflow and return on investment analysis
- Act as a technical resource and liaison between the sales force and customer.
- Act as a liaison with the Product Managers to discuss potential product developments
- Conduct customer or prospect webinars
- 40% travel, domestic
What You Need to Succeed:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience of pre-sales within the ERP industry or equivalent operations experience as a user of ERP
- Background of success in supporting both direct and channel sales
- Experience in the manufacturing industry
- Documented experience of giving customer presentations / demonstrations
